There’s Bowling until the green closes!
We hold a number of friendly and fun competitions each season covering singles, pairs and triples. Competitions are open to all members with the exception of the Foundation Cup (for members who have never won a club trophy) and the Ladies Cup. The Stan Smith and Kathleen Birch Trophies run through the season and are 'first to 21'. All the others are mostly played on a Saturday and are a series of shortened matches - the pairs and triples are 'round robin' and the singles are in a knockout format.
The events are always fun and whether you win or not, it's a great way to spend an afternoon with other members, watching and playing bowls.
